Well this is one of those questions where the answer has to be a bit vague…
A landscape designer is someone that generally only works with plants and ‘softscaping’ only theoretically designing or including structures such as walls and pathways. A designer can provide you with a quite complex landscape plan.
A landscape architect is more inclined to include very detailed information on the ‘hardscaping’ specifying details about the structure of a wall or paving. An architect will provide a highly detailed landscape plan drawn to scale & including specification etc.
Add to this a landscape engineer who will add construction detail & absolute specifications (e.g. – pier holes to be 300mm wide by 500mm deep with 100mm bed of 20mm clean drainage aggregate in the base etc etc)
Soooo… a landscape designer may well be a landscape architect & vice versa.
It could also be said that all landscape architects are landscape designers but not all designers are architects…

How can I make a photo collage?
Question by 242girly: How can I make a photo collage?
I have a ton of pictures of my 2 kids on my computer, and I want to make a nice collage with them. I have 8 x 11 sheets of photo paper and a photo printer. I’ve printed photos of them before, but never made a collage…can anyone tell me how to make it and print it off?
I don’t really have any software, I just need to find out something that I can use…and how can i make the collage and crop the photos so that they’re round, not square?

You don’t say which software your using.
In Photoshop you would start by creating a blank canvas which for you would be 8 X 11 (which is a non standard size by the way). Then just open your pics and drag them onto the canvas and resize and may be rotate slightly, add any text, and print it out.
If you don’t have Photoshop then Word can do this too, not as well or as easily, but it will work.
If you don’t have Photoshop or Word then you can download Gimp here;-

Which is free and works pretty much like Photoshop.
