I know it want auto focus and that’s not a problem. The problem is I have found some really good deals on nice clean film lens and not really sure if they will work on my Nikon D60. If anyone could tell me if it will or what to look for when I buy a film lens It would help me so much! Thank you. Here is a few lens I have found
Tamron 80-210 CF Tele Macro f3.8~4.0
Sigma 35-70 Zoom-Master f2.8~4.0 Macro.

I searched up the Tamron online, and since it is a manual-focus only lens, it will not even couple with the metering with your D60 camera. If the sample you seen is in the Nikon F mount, yes, it will fit, but metering is completely useless. That means that the only mode you can use the lens in is in “M”. And you’ll being a whole lot of guesswork regarding exposure since even the exposure meter is rendered useless. I know because my dad owns a few old Nikkor AI-S manual-focus only lenses, and when I tried them on my D80, the metering failed to work. I’m okay with it though, since most of the stuff I shoot with those lenses are still-life subjects.
After browsing through the search results from google, the paragraph above applies to the Sigma too.

Barcelona Panorama

This may be the biggest frickin’ panorama I’ve ever taken.
The view from the amusement park on the Tibidabo basically lets you see the whole city from above. You can make out a lot of the architectural sights here. Maybe it would have been enough to shoot with a small lens and just have the view but I wanted to actually make out the stuff in detail. So I shot with my tele lens. 157 pictures. The resulting panorama, on which my computer nearly choked, was 429 megapixels big. After a little trimming I had 252 megapixels left and a 985 megabyte file. Flickr can’t handle this so here’s a smaller (but still big) variation of that.
Make sure to check out the big version! (Warning: It’s really big!)

The flying Dutch windmill (throwing tulips and clogs, well they COULD have)

Tonight a whole squadron of hot air balloons flew over our house. Too bad I don’t have the money yet for a decent 70-200 (or something) tele lens, so these are crops of pictures taken with the 50mm/1.8

Yes.
I never recommend tele converters especially with lenses like the 18-55mm one.

yeah there is this lens:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Nikon-Nikkor-ED300-4-5-300mm-lens-Hoya-72mm-Sky-Filter-/350405759604?pt=Camera_Lenses&hash=item5195cf9274#ht_2333wt_907

do you think they would work together? if so thatd be pretty badass. if not oh well it was a nice project anyhow.

The 72 mm filter size refers to the threads in front of the lens.
72 mm telephoto (is there such a thing?) would refer to the focal length of the entire lens unit.
Looking at the products you link, all this information only means that you can use 72 mm filters on any other lens that accepts 72 mm filters. The thing is, that there may be many different manufactures of lenses accpting 72 mm filters. But that does not mean that all of these different lenses will fit the same camera.

I’m pretty sure it multiplies as that is how my telescope and microscopes worked.
