And why. Just asking a question not doing any if the stuff I just mentioned only curious

I am no expert as my experience in wedding shoot is limited.
You will need a flash gun
one or two bodies and fast lenses.
You need to get a cam that works well in low light as you may need to push up the iso.
I have an alpha a200 (ok up to iso 1600 but need strong correction with LR3) and the usual 50mm f1.8 and the 28-75mm f2.8 from tamron.
you need to understand manual shooting and the lens named last will help you greatly to shoot in manual mode as the aperture is the same al the time weither you zoom in or out, so no noticeable light fall.
you will need a wide angle lens for the usual group shots.
reflectors, tripods, batteries, crazy fast cards of smallish size in large number, just in case there is a fault. spare films should you shoot with a film camera (i used BW ilford films with a yashica rangefinder)
